So we decided that we'd play the DVD in my laptop (Macbook Pro) and hook it to the tv using the HDMI cable. However, what I forgot is that my old tv had a built-in DVD player, and the new one doesn't. So my boyfriend came over recently with a DVD we wanted to watch together on my brand new giant tv. I'm a newbie here, and I'm hoping you can help me out.
